Roles & Expectations

An instructor must organize and manage games/activities that are fun, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate to support the school’s PBIS and SEL standards along with their culture, vision, and values.

An instructor will perform tasks to facilitate the child’s social development and support schools’ expectations with attendance, grades, and discipline.

Instructors must communicate with their Program Manager to support school’s expectations.

The instructor should meet the following expectations:

  • Practical experience working with children 6-14 years

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Live scanned and CDC concussion certified

  • Represent Active Education in a professional and ethical manner

  • Perform to the highest level of ability at all times, with energy and enthusiasm

  • Work with different age ranges and ability levels

  • Good communication and PR with school administrators, principal, and vice-principal

  • Understand Active Education guidelines, philosophies, and expectations

  • Possess a driving license
