By using this straightforward checklist, you will experience a multitude of benefits, including gaining a clear understanding of your role and fostering consistency that leads to continuous improvement.

BEFORE THE PROGRAM

  1. Read & follow the curriculum

  2. Be prepared with the game(s) for the day

  3. Clock-In Homebase

  4. Sign in at school

  5. Update AE Poster’s games & activities (Monday)

THE PROGRAM

  1. Check-in with Active Education teammate(s) - Organizate the day

  2. Get equipment out & set up activities & games

  3. If Active Zone = prepare for kids coming out

  4. Show enthusiasm & energy

  5. Teach & play games, interact with students, be positive, and have fun

  6. Support conflict resolution & positive behavior

  7. Give stickers for positive student actions

AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM

  1. Get students to help clean up equipment at the end of the program

  2. Store equipment neatly in the storeroom

  3. Sign out of school

  4. Clock out of Homebase

  5. Remind yourself of the impact you have just had on students’ lives - Great Work!
